MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF KAZAKHSTAN RECEIVES ROMANIAN MEDAL OF HONOR

On the occasion of marking Kazakhstan –Romania: 20 years of diplomatic relations. A strategic partnership,   the diplomatic corp  accredited to Romania welcomed  the decision to award the ROMANIAN MEDAL OF HONOR for DIPLOMATIC ACHIEVEMENTS for H.E. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan- Dr. YERZHAN KAZYKHANOV.

The decision  was read out by Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, Director of  Institute of International Relations and  Economic Cooperation .

 

Among the reasons for entrusting the highest academic and diplomatic honor for  achievements in international relations  to  Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan- Dr. YERZHAN KAZYKHANOV Professor Dr. Anton Caragea emphasized the constant support for developing the bilateral relations , the elevation to the status of embassy of Kazakhstan Mission to Romania , the rich and diverse cultural and political dialogue fostered by Romania and Kazakhstan.

In accordance to ROMANIAN MEDAL OF HONOR internal regulation, the honor was also awarded for Dr. YERZHAN KAZYKHANOV wider efforts in promoting the cooperation between Europe and Asia, to foster the international dialogue, to support peaceful resolution of conflict and for  promoting denuclearization  in Central Asia region .

The insignia, official decree and the medal where entrusted to Deputy Foreign Minister of Kazakhstan Mr. Oralbayevich ABDYKARIMOV to be offered to Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan.

The ceremony was held in the presence of Presidents of Romania Mr. Ion Iliescu and Mr. Emil Constantinescu as required by the regulations and bylaws of  ROMANIAN MEDAL OF HONOR.
