ROMANIA HAS A NEW AMBASSADOR IN THE WORLD: DOMENIILE PANCIU WINE

On the occasion of the Summer 2019 diplomatic visit to Vrancea during the official visit to the new HOTEL DOMENIILE PANCIU (Resort and Winery) a simple and pleasant ceremony to award Mr. Daniel Guzu with the recognition for the creator of  DIPLOMATIC WINE FOR 2019-BEST  WINE OF ROMANIA had taken place.

The ceremony reflected the PANCIU DOMAINS (Domeniile Panciu) role in promoting Romanian wines in the world and to mark the extraordinary successes registered in 2019.

During the last eight months, the DOMENIILE PANCIU wines obtained powerful recognitions during Brussels  Wine Competition snatching the top prizes against more than 9000 competitors worldwide.

 

 

Mr. Daniel Guzu-DOMENIILE PANCIU President is congratulated on the occasion of his acknowledgement as the creator of THE ROMANIAN DIPLOMATIC WINE/ROMANIA`S BEST WINE. 

 

 

The company also launched, in a first for Romania, wines without sulfites (encompassing three types like Feteasca Regala, Rose and Cabernet Sauvignon) and finally launched the new resort and tasting facility: DOMENIILE PANCIU HOTELS.

 

We must mention that under the former name of HOUSE OF PANCIU (CASA PANCIU) the wines of Vrancea had obtained the prestigious accolade of being the DIPLOMATIC WINE OF ROMANIA-THE BEST ROMANIAN WINE in 2011, 2013, 2016 and 2018 placing at the fore wines that made history like: FETEASCA NEAGRA, ŞARBA, BABEASCA and unique sparkling wines like the MUSCAT OTTONEL a momentous sparkling wine selected as DIPLOMATIC WINE FOR 2019 and was medalled with Gold at Berlin Wine contest in 2018.

 

 

The new sulfites free wine concept has conquered the eyes and the taste of the public in attendance.

 

 

 

The members of the diplomatic corps present on the venue had highlighted also the efforts of the PANCIU DOMAINS winemaker Mr. Sorin Macoviciuc and his role in the launch of the new sulfites free wines batch.

DOMENIILE PANCIU had proudly and efficiently represented Romanian wine industry garnering tens of awards in the last two years and becoming Romania`s most celebrated winemaker.

 

Public diplomacy has much to be grateful to Mr. Daniel Guzu, DOMENIILE PANCIU President for hosting the Summer 2019 Diplomatic Trip to DISCOVER ROMANIA, but even more for giving the world the opportunity to taste the special wines of Romania and to witness, the beauties of Vrancea mentioned Professor Dr. Anton Caragea.

BERLINER WEIN TROPHY 2018 GIVES GOLD MEDAL TO DOMENIILE PANCIU

DOMENIILE PANCIU are succeeding a new European level performance as they obtained the GOLD MEDAL for their famous sparkling wine Muscat Ottonel Panciu Riserva 2017 in the contest of Berliner Wein Trophy 2018.

 

The Berlin-based competition can be best evaluated by a few key figures like: 6700 wines under jury evaluation, 198 experts garnered as jurors for the contest, 35 committees dedicated to the evaluations and a few gold medalists among whom DOMENIILE PANCIU from Vrancea Tifesti had taken center stage.

 

DOMENIILE PANCIU achieved the apex of international recognition and succeeded in placing under limelight once more the value of the Vrancea terroir that is producing sparkling wines on equal footing with famous Champagnes sparkling wines or Italian ones.

We must remember that: the DOMENIILE PANCIU under the brand name of CASA PANCIU was selected as Europe`s representation and diplomatic wine in 2014 and in 2017 on the EUROPE DAY ceremony the Vin d’honneur was once again provided by the DOMENIILE PANCIU selected wine.

SUMMER 2017: THE TIME FOR DOMENIILE PANCIU SPARKLING WINE!

A new promotion campaign for Romanian wines will have his start from July 4^th  2017, under the banner: THE SUMMER STARTS WITH DOMENIILE PANCIU WINE!

The wine promotion campaign is destined to present, to an international audience, the BEST ROMANIAN WINE: DOMENIILE PANCIU.

PANCIU DOMAINS (DOMENIILE PANCIU) has received the most outstanding recognition, for the quality of Romanian wine, in April 2017, when it was proclaimed the ROMANIAN DIPLOMATIC WINE.

PANCIU DOMAINS (DOMENIILE PANCIU)  is presenting his special wine collection for 2017. 

With the start of this promotion campaign ambassadors and wine tasters, from all around the world, will enjoy the brands selected and highly marked as the best wines produced in Romania, the wines created by PANCIU DOMAINS (DOMENIILE PANCIU).

The selection of wines, that will be presented for the SUMMER 2017 campaign: THE SUMMER COMES FROM PANCIU! will include the list of Ambassador wines of Romania and will be presented to diplomats, foreign journalists and importers of wine from across the world.

 

The list is opened by PANCIU DOMAINS (DOMENIILE PANCIU)-Blanc de Blancs a sparkling wine that is widely considered the most refined of all the sparkling wines ever created with classic methods.

The DOMENIILE PANCIU-Blanc de Blancs will be thea highlight of the diplomatic parties and receptions and will bring glamour to the main diplomatic events of summer 2017.

On the account of the specificity of the land (terroir) of Panciu vineyard, the wine used to make the sparkling wine has developed unique capabilities unmatched in the world, specific to the high acidity lands.

The bottle fermentation and ageing process, in special conditions for a period of over 18 months, are bringing to the glasses a special aromatic sparkling wine, full of palates ranging from of lily of the valley, white flower fields and lime, all surrounded in discrete mineral aroma and flavour of freshly baked bread out of the oven.

The specialized tasters are describing the taste as fresh and balanced with a mixed of green apples, asian pear, roasted nuts and pomelo.

Domeniile Panciu Cuvée Prestige, the winemaker`s blended in the perfect XVII century tradition of Dom Perignon wines from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and for a touch of modernity added some Fetească Regală (Royal Girl).

The sparkling wine is fully complying with the world known classic recipe of Dom Perignon, the friar who invented the perfect fizzy wine.

The magnificent beverage is the result of bottled secondary fermentation coupled with special cave maturation during 18 months and disgorging „à la volée” (without bottle refrigeration) that is fully preserving the exceptional flavor and created a sparkling wine of amazing quality and benefiting the uniqueness of Panciu area terroir.

The colour is yellowish and with pastry flavour that is transforming slowly in a after-taste of honey and dried fruits.

The specialized tasters are describing the palate as profound and rich with aromas of dried apricot, roasted nuts and a pinch of tropical fruits that evolves in a after-taste long-lasting and reinvigorating that is making us day dreaming on fines french pastry.

The Romanian A list of diplomatic guests will enjoy from July 1st  to October 1st  2017 among the best wines and the famous Feteasca Neagra (Black Girly) from DOMENIILE PANCIU, a wine that was named THE BEST ROMANIAN RED WINE for 2014 and conquered the world public as the flagship wine of Romania.
