THE OFFICIAL PRAYER FOR SAINTS MARTYRS EPICTETUS AND ASTION CELEBRATION

The years 2018 and 2019 are dedicated to the Christian legacy and heritage of the Saints Epictetus and Astion and are marked by a host of events and celebrations across the world and will be crowned by a special pilgrimage to the holy places marking the life, the sacrifice and the victory of the martyrs: Priest Epictetus and Monk Astion.

 

 

 

For the spiritual comfort and the enlightening of the pilgrims and the believers that will be interested to take part in this spiritual exercise and memorial of faith and cultural route, a special prayer was carved out and proposed for all those that will take the road to discovery and love for Martyrs Epictetus and Astion during these years.

Saints Martyrs Epictetus and Astion, protectors of Europe and guiding lights to all those that are traveling on the seas of life and are confronting troubles and difficulties hear our heartily prayer!

Saints Epictetus and Astion, saints of everlasting dedication in prayer, of unbounded love towards Christ our Lord, buglers of the Evangel of Light and of love pray for us all.

Saints Epictetus and Astion, you have heald sickness, banned demons, shined with the works of miracles and power of the word protects us, enlighten our thoughts and souls and keep our body unharmed.

Saints Epictetus and Astion, you have conquered by the power of words cities, peoples and fortifications to the true faith and gifted us with the divine light, protect us, accept our contrition and speed our prayers to the All Mighty throne and intercede for us as through your deeds you garnered much love and protection for our Lord.

Saints Epictetus and Astion you are the defenders for the faithfuls, the unbreached wall that the evil can never defeat, give us the cure for all our bodily and soul sufferings and needs.

Saints Epictetus and Astion, by your sacrifice you have lead millions to Our Lord Jesus Christ and to the source of light and you have continued to shine on to the world by the power of your love towards us , the unworthy ones, pray for us, lift our hearts as we are staying before your icon so that we will receive God`s light and his  mighty mercy and protection.
