On August 5, 2016, the new DPR Korea Ambassador Ri Pyong Du hosted a presentation of DPR KOREA CULINAR POTENTIAL.

The culinary presentation was acknowledged by the presence of highest officials of the land, as a sign of the good bilateral relations.

The culinary potential and imagination of Korean people was full demonstrated by the presentation of traditional products like: Insam soju, traditional korean beverage ginseng based, a tonic world-wide recognised for his beneficial influence on the consumers health, Japchae- a pea based noodles with veal meat and algae flavoured, the universally acclaimed kimchi could not be missing and also noodles with cow meat Guksu.

The presentation was crowned by SINSEOLLO, the recognised jewel of Korean cooking.

The Ambassador of Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, H.E. Ri Pyong Du was warmly congratulated by the Romanian Parliament representatives on his inspirational idea to outline DPR Korea culinary potential and encouraged to strengthen the ties between Korean and Romanian people’s, by presenting the culinary potential, full of variety, of the people of the country of the morning calm, the sobriquet of Korea.

European Tourism organization will held his regular yearly meeting in Romania, in a sign of confidence in the country rapid tourism industry development.
On the occasion of the tourism organization will be tabled: increased regional cooperation, visa facilitation and the better promotion of European tourism.
These are some of the topics in focus at the 9th Meeting of the European Tourism organization-ECTT to be held in Bucharest, Romania, 10-11 June 2016.

European tourism delegates will partake in a week-end of discovery of the Babadag Lake region and Enisala (art and strategic medieval fortification).
The 9th Meeting of the European Tourism organization will be held at the Romanian parliament.
Professor Dr. Anton Caragea-President Director general of IRICE and President-elect of European Tourism will play host to representatives from 28 European countries and other tourism stakeholders in the region to discuss policy priorities and set the agenda for European and world tourism in 2016-2017.

The DISCOVER ROMANIA PROGRAM is destined to highlight for the ambassadors that had endeavour and achieved recognition for their efforts to foster the bilateral relations the beauties of Romania. In the last three years DISCOVER ROMANIA PROGRAM had offered diplomatic trips to Maramures, Hateg, Retezat, Iasi, Bucovina, Danube Delta and Targoviste to ambassadors from United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Syria, Macedonia, Albania, Qatar, Venezuela, Nigeria etc.
The names of the ambassadors who will be invited for Spring 2016 DISCOVER ROMANIA PROGRAM will be announced in March 2016 and the trip will start in April and will showcase Moldavian beauties, announced IRICE President Anton Caragea.
The meeting concluded with an introduction of the main activities of the diplomatic calendar for the first quarter of 2016, a presentation on the upcoming February 2016 Romanian Tourism Fair and International Good and Beverage Exhibition – Goodwine May 2016.
