Danube Delta has succeeded in 2017 to draw a record visitors number, the highest since revolution.

2017 CALATORIA DIPLOMATILOR IN DOBROGEA SI LA PUFLENE RESORT

Excursia anuala de vara, pentru diplomatii care s-au evidentiat prin activitatea lor in Romania, a avut loc in perioada 15-18 august 2017 in organizarea Institutului de Relatii Internationale si Cooperare Economica (IRICE) si a vizat descoperirea de catre diplomati a zonei Deltei Dunarii si a Dobrogei.

 

Centrul de greutate al calatoriei a fost zona Murighiol si centrul de odihna si relaxare PUFLENE RESORT, cel mai elegant complex hotelier din Delta si zona Dobrogei.

 

Calatoria a inceput la complexul SARI SALTUK BABA din Babadag.

 

Calatoria diplomatilor a vizat un traseu predominant cultural si istoric.

Pe ruta de descoperire a Dobrogei a figurat orasul Babadag, centru islamic vestit in secolele XIV-XVIII, cetatea greco-romana de la Halmyris (Murighiol), cetatea genoveza, monument de arta medievala de la Enisala, cetatea greco-celtica de la Argamum – Jurilovca), basilica Sf. Martiri Epictet si Astion de la Murighiol etc.

Programul Descopera Romania este directionat pentru a permite diplomatilor acreditati in Romania sa cunoasca noi si noi zone ale tarii noastre, sa se familiarizeze cu traditiile si bogatele obiceiuri ale diverselor regiuni ale Romaniei si de ce nu, sa se bucure de cateva zile de odihna activa.

Invitatiile pentru acest program sunt extrem de cautate si sunt acceptati in aceasta calatorie de descoperire, conform unei reguli stricte, doar acei diplomati care s-au evidentiat prin activitatile lor de cooperare cu tara noastra, desfasurate impreuna cu Institutul de Relatii Internationale si Cooperare Economica.

In acest an tinta calatoriei noastre, ce i-a reunit pe ambasadori si familiile lor, a fost Dobrogea si Delta Dunarii, ne-a declarat Prof.Dr. Anton Caragea, Presedintele Director General al Institutului de Relatii Internationale si Cooperare Economica si motivele acestei alegeri au fost multiple.

Mai organizasem o astfel de deplasare in 2011 si 2016 si tineam minte entuziasmul cu care ambasadorii descoperisera zona si vroiam sa introducem in program noi si noi destinatii din Delta.

 

Apoi in luna iulie 2017 tocmai prezentasem potentialul economic extraordinar al Dobrogei pentru diplomatii straini si am decis ca aprofundarea acestui traseu este necesara pentru a vedea obiectivele istorice ale zonei si pentru a descoperi rolul culturii dobrogene in istoria Romaniei de astazi.

In plus Delta Dunarii s-a dezvoltat enorm in ultimii ani si acum aveam extraordinarul complex de odihna PUFLENE RESORT, care sa fie centrul activitatilor noastre de decoperire si in acelasi timp baza noastra pentru noapte, pentru o masa buna si pentru recuperare.

 

Cetatea Argamum, un antic centru de cultura si comert.

 

Programul diplomatilor a fost facut in acest an, cu ajutorul Directorului General al PUFLENE RESORT, dl Mihai Puflene, un extraordinar cunoscator al Deltei si mai ales un iubitor al ei.

Programul a cuprins plimbari cu barca si salupa in zone splendide precum: Murighiol, lacul Uzlina (cel mai mare lac din zona) Lacurile Isac 1 si Isac 2, zone ale rezervatiei de mangrove, unice in Europa, Canalul Litcov si opriri in vestitul sat cu case albastre si centru al rusilor lipoveni din zona: Crisan.

Diplomatii sau bucurat si de excursii pe bratul Sulina, pana la intalnirea cu Marea Neagra, si mai ales au fost impresionati de vizionarea Padurii Letea, monument natural UNESCO.

Au starnit uimire pentru diplomati magnificele vestigii ale cetatilor Halmyris si Argamum, proba a vechimii si continuitatii neamului romanesc din Dobrogea, iar monumentele islamice de la Babadag si cele crestine de la Murighiol au uimit prin incarcatura spirituala.

Cele patru zile de calatorii si descoperiri au mai fost incununate si de odihna activa, ocazie cu care diplomatii sau bucurat de facilitatile complexului PUFLENE precum: piscina olimpica, sala de gimnastica si masaj si mai ales de specialitatile culinare ale zonei, toate selectate tot de specialistul programului: dl. Mihai Puflene.

Cetatea Enisala: centru de arta medievala construit de navigatorii genovezi in sec. XIII.

Cetatea Halmyris (Murighiol): cetate greco-romana si unul din principalele centre crestine timpurii ale Imperiului Roman.

 

Intre bunatatile recomandate pentru a ilustra culinar Delta putem enumera: storceagul de sturion, ciorba de peste, saramura de crap si incredibila scrumbie umpluta.

Un fel de mancare imperial: Stiuca umpluta, unul din produsele culinare vestite de la PUFLENE RESORT.

 

Calatoria diplomatilor in Delta a fost un nou success al programului DESCOPERA ROMANIA, pornit in 2008 de Institutul de Relatii Internationale si Cooperare Economica si va fi urmata de o noua calatorie in aceasta iarna (decembrie 2017) vizand descoperirea Bucovinei, a declarat Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea.

DOBROGEA ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITIES: A MAGNET FOR FOREIGN INVESTORS!

Dobrogea has become the center of economic attractiveness for investors from Golf Cooperation Council (GCC).

During two days (19 -20 July 2017) a delegation of Arab investors has toured the region in search of agricultural and tourism opportunities under the supervision of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation.

DOBROGEA: THE MIRACLE LAND ON THE THRESHOLD OF BLACK SEA

The main items of the agenda were: ensuring a steady supply of wheat, cereals, and flour and sun flower and corn oil, developing a regional source of sheep`s meat and developing tourism opportunities for family packages in Danube Delta, Black Sea resorts and regional hotels.

The delegation was also received at SAR SALTUK BABA mosque in Babadag, a potential center for Islamic religious tourism.

THE OPENING CEREMONY FOR 2016 ROMANIAN TOURISM FAIR

On 18 November 2016 the official visit, marking the opening of Autumn 2016-Romania Tourism Fair at the ROMEXPO Hall, in Bucharest, has taken place.

Bread and Salt: Traditional welcome for H.E. Professor Dr. Anton Caragea-President General Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation and Academician Mircea Constantinescu opening the 2016 TOURISM FAIR.

 

The 18 November official tour of the exhibition had taken place under The High Patronage of President of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania.

 

On this occasion Professor Dr. Anton Caragea-President General Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation has made the official tour of honour for all the pavilions that promoted outbound and inbound tourism,  accompanied by a delegation of members of Romanian Parliament and the usual retinue of governmental officials.

 

The Romanian Tourism Fair has garnered the most important tourism companies that outlined special offers for the lovers of cultural tourism, medical tourism and wellness, rural and business related tourism but also presented offers for aficionados of cruises, exotic destinations and adventure tourism.

 

Professor Dr. Anton Caragea had toured the areas dedicated to the promotion of wine tourism and stressed his office support for wine discovery based tourism programs, that are allowing visitors to familiarized themselves with Romania`s natural beauties but also to taste the incredible Romanians wines.

President Dr. Anton Caragea also visited the pavilions of Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, Hungary, Bulgaria and delivered a speech on Movenpick stand on the opportunities offered by Middle Eastern tourism.

Professor Dr. Anton Caragea visited the Photographic Exhibition ans encouraged the artists present and was received as distinguished guest by the representatives of the transport companies like Air Berlin, Blue Air and made a special stop over to the National Air Transport Company TAROM, where IRICE President took his time and attended a photo session with the employees of the national air company.

 

The open conference held by Professor Dr. Anton Caragea on Middle Eastern tourism opportunities was attended by tourism specialists, mass media and governmental officials.

Romanian Tourism Fair 2016 was a pleasant opportunity to meet the representatives of the tourism and air transport companies and to discuss new methods to improve tourism at world level and more than everything provided us with a rostrum of discussions for the future elections on WORLD BEST TOURISM DESTINATION FOR 2017 and WORLD CAPITAL OF CULTURE AND TOURISM IN 2017 stated IRICE President Professor Dr. Anton Caragea in the concluding remarks of his visit.

ROMANIA IS HOSTING THE 9TH EUROPEAN TOURISM SUMMIT

European Tourism organization will held his regular yearly meeting in Romania, in a sign of confidence in the country rapid tourism industry development.

On the occasion of the tourism organization conclave important issues will be tabled among them: increased regional cooperation, visa facilitation and the better promotion of European tourism.

These are some of the topics in focus at the 9th Meeting of the European Tourism organization-ECTT to be held in Bucharest, Romania, 10-11 June 2016.

Europe is the world’s most visited region and is the main source of outbound tourism to other destination, accounting for more than half of the world’s international travelers.

Palace of Parliament is preparing to host European Tourism Organization meeting.

 

 In 2014, international tourism in Europe had registered a major contribution to the economic recovery in the region: international tourist arrivals grew by 3% to reach a record 584 million, while international tourism receipts increased by 4% contributing US$ 509 billion (383 billion euro) to the European economies.

European tourism delegates will partake in a week-end of discovery of the Babadag Lake region and Enisala (art and strategic medieval  fortification).

 

The 9th Meeting of the European Tourism organization will be held at the Romanian parliament.

Professor Dr. Anton Caragea-President Director general of IRICE and President-elect of European Tourism will play host to representatives from 28 European countries and other tourism stakeholders in the region to discuss policy priorities and set the agenda for European and world tourism in 2016-2017.

On 12 and 13 June 2016, the delegates will be invited to a familiarization trip in Lake District of Romania and will visit the famous Enisala fortress in Dobrogea having thus the opportunity to discover Romanian touristic landscapes.
