PARLIAMENTARIAN AGRIGOROAEI IONEL MARKETS IASI AS AN INVESTOR HOT SPOT

Between 12 to 15 September 2013 at the invitation of Senator Ionel Agrigoroaei, Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation (IRICE) has visited the Iasi county in order to analyse the economic, tourist and investment opportunities of the region in order to evaluate the inclusion of Iasi city into the diplomatic program of IRICE: Discover Romania!

City of Iasi has a great strong point in world of today: the cultural monuments such as CETATUIA ( Stronghold) Monastery.

Senator Ionel Agrigoroaei has highlighted the enormous agricultural, industrial and economic opportunities of the capital of Moldavia region in countless official meetings held in Bucharest with the representatives of the diplomatic corps creating an impressive PR campaign in the benefit of Iasi County in the diplomatic community.

 

In order to capitalize on this interest growing interest of foreign investors, senator Ionel Agrigoroaei had presented the candidature of the region to Professor Dr. Anton Caragea-IRICE Director  asking him to offer his patronage to an ambassadors delegation interested in researching regional opportunities in order to reshuffle the economic profile of Iasi.

In the last span of time IRICE had organized diplomatic visits in areas such as: Bucovina, Maramures, Hunedoara-Hateg, Danube Delta etc. the visit having as visible economic results.

Interested in promoting the development of Iasi region, senator Ionel Agrigoroaei had ask for his region to be included in this diplomatic visits itinerary, felicitous for economic attractiveness and notoriety of the region.

 

During his opportunity assessment visit Professor Dr. Anton Caragea had visited landmark historical and cultural monuments of the region such as: Galata Monastery, Frumoasa (Beautiful) Monastery, Dobrovat Monastery –UNESCO heritage site, Cetatuia (Stronghold) Monastery, Union Palace, Trei Ierarhi, The Metropolitan Church etc.

The visit also encompasses assessments of economic centers of the region and also TV interviews at the main TV channels of the region: TV Life and Digi TV.

In the concluding remarks of his visit Professor Dr. Anton Caragea had assessed the regional potential as a powerful driving force for local development and underlined that the only chance for Iasi is represented by the efforts for international integration promoted by Senator Ionel Agrigoroaei.
