MURIGHIOL AND PUFLENE RESORTS WILL HOST FOR THE THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR THE 2018 SUMMER DIPLOMATIC TRIP

Danube Delta will be the center, for a third year in a row, of DISCOVER ROMANIA 2018 summer trip of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation (IRCE), the program destined to acquaint diplomats and international friends of Romania with the country historical patrimony and leisure opportunities and destinations.

The destination selection was made keeping in balance the international rename of the area of Danube Delta, the breathtaking beauty of the region and the celebrations destined to mark in 2018 and 2019 the YEAR OF SAINT EPICTETUS AND ASTION.

We hope that 2018 will be a continuation of the successful declaration of 2017 as THE YEAR TO DISCOVER DANUBE DELTA.

The successful promotion campaign has managed to attract on Danube Delta a record of 120.000 visitors in 2017 compared to 71.000 last year stated Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, IRICE President.

In 2017 PUFLENE RESORT and Mihai Puflene are being honored with the prestigious title of DIPLOMATIC PARTNERS.

At the heart of this sensibilization campaign aimed at informing Romanian public with regards to the extraordinary tourism potential of the Danube Delta was Mr. Mihai Puflene the General Director of PUFLENE RESORT and an avid and ardent promoter of the Danube beauties and potential, bent of sharing them with the world.

 

For his role in promoting Danube Delta as a center for relaxation and discovery for the entire Dobrogea(Dobrudja) region during 2016 and 2017 diplomatic trips, Mr. Mihai Puflene and PUFLENE RESORT where named OFFICIAL DIPLOMATIC PARTNERS of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation (IRICE).

CITY OF TARGOVISTE IS REGISTERED AS AN OBJECTIVE OF DISCOVER ROMANIA DIPLOMATIC TRIPS PROGRAM

In the period between 25 to 26 September 2014, at the invitation of local authorities, Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, Chairman of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation (IRICE) and Senator Ionel Agrigoroaei, from the Economic Committee of Romanian Parliament had visited the Dambovita county in order to analyze the economic, tourist and investment opportunities of the region and to evaluate the inclusion of city of Targoviste in the diplomatic program of IRICE: Discover Romania!

During the visit where highlighted the enormous agricultural, industrial and economic opportunities of the Targoviste region.

The local authorities of the region, asked Professor Dr. Anton Caragea-IRICE Chairman to support the promotion and presentation of the regional opportunities in order to reshuffle the economic profile of Targoviste.

In the last span of time, IRICE had organized diplomatic visits in areas such as: Bucovina, Maramures, Hunedoara-Hateg, Danube Delta etc. the visit having as visible economic results.

During his opportunity assessment visit, Professor Dr. Anton Caragea had visited landmark historical and cultural monuments of the region such as: Valahia University, Princes Palace of Targoviste, Chindiei Tower, Dealu Monastery etc.

The visit also encompasses assessments of economic centers of the region and mass media presentation and TV interviews at the main TV channels of the Dambovita region.

In the concluding remarks of his visit, Professor Dr. Anton Caragea had assessed the regional potential as a powerful driving force for local development and underlined that the only chance for Targoviste is the development as cultural, academic and research center in the region, attracting foreign capital and investors interested in promoting research activities.

The city of Targoviste is an opportunity that cannot be overlook by diplomatic community, concluded the Chairman of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation.

PARLIAMENTARIAN AGRIGOROAEI IONEL MARKETS IASI AS AN INVESTOR HOT SPOT

Between 12 to 15 September 2013 at the invitation of Senator Ionel Agrigoroaei, Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation (IRICE) has visited the Iasi county in order to analyse the economic, tourist and investment opportunities of the region in order to evaluate the inclusion of Iasi city into the diplomatic program of IRICE: Discover Romania!

City of Iasi has a great strong point in world of today: the cultural monuments such as CETATUIA ( Stronghold) Monastery.

Senator Ionel Agrigoroaei has highlighted the enormous agricultural, industrial and economic opportunities of the capital of Moldavia region in countless official meetings held in Bucharest with the representatives of the diplomatic corps creating an impressive PR campaign in the benefit of Iasi County in the diplomatic community.

 

In order to capitalize on this interest growing interest of foreign investors, senator Ionel Agrigoroaei had presented the candidature of the region to Professor Dr. Anton Caragea-IRICE Director  asking him to offer his patronage to an ambassadors delegation interested in researching regional opportunities in order to reshuffle the economic profile of Iasi.

During his opportunity assessment visit Professor Dr. Anton Caragea had visited landmark historical and cultural monuments of the region such as: Galata Monastery, Frumoasa (Beautiful) Monastery, Dobrovat Monastery –UNESCO heritage site, Cetatuia (Stronghold) Monastery, Union Palace, Trei Ierarhi, The Metropolitan Church etc.

AMBASSADORS VISIT TO DANUBE DELTA

Between 17 and 19 June 2011, the Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation had organized a DISCOVER DANUBE DELTA TRIP, for members of the diplomatic corp with cooperated closely with the institution in the last period (Qatar and United Arab Emirates).

The DISCOVER DANUBE DELTA TRIP is part of DISCOVER ROMANIA PROGRAM, initiated by Director Anton Caragea, Head of the Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania, to offer to ambassadors accredited to Romania, the possibility to discover the natural beauties and the economic opportunities offered by Romania. This year the spring diplomatic trip was oriented towards the Maramures County and the second diplomatic trip was oriented towards the south region of Danube.

This summer, the diplomat’s trip was oriented towards DANUBE DELTA, as the Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation    has offered the High Patronage to INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON DANUBE AND DANUBE DELTA (23-26 June 2011).

The trip was concentrated on Tulcea City, a historical city, with a history of over 2.000 years, where diplomats could enjoy the atmosphere of a multi ethnic and plural-religious center and the rich and flavored culinary tradition of the area.

The diplomatic trip included a one day trip towards secret places of Danube Delta and visits to area as: Mila 23 , the lost village, inhabited by Lipoven`s (a Russian origin population who seek refuge in Danube Delta in XVII center to escape religious persecutions in Russia), also diplomats could enjoy the atmosphere of a reclusive fisherman`s village, to observed the oldest church in the region (Blue Church on Mila 23).

The Danube Delta trip has concluded with a visit to Sulina, the onetime pearl of Danube. The visit included the special opening of Orthodox Cathedral of Sulina build by King Charles I (1866-1914), the old Lighthouse build by European Danube Commission in 1858, the museum of famous Danube writer -Jean Bart and Palace of European Commission of Danube.

Ambassadors included in the trip, praised the rich culinary tradition of the area, the scenic spots offered by Danube and the wealth of history and tradition unveiled by the archeological and historical areas in the region.

Also they expressed their interest in supporting partnerships and investors from their country interested in the important touristic projects developed in this magic area. The ambassadors visited the site of the most important touristic projects at Murghiol (in the proximity of the ancient city of Halmirys) where a project for a heliport, a river port and a complex for 1.000 tourists and residential areas is ready to open his gates.

Ambassador Yacoub Yousef al Hosani of United Arab Emirates has expressed his appreciation towards the Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania and Director Anton Caragea for hosting this trip and for opening the magic gates of a UNESCO heritage site as valuable as Danube Delta.

H.E.Ambassador Salem Al Jabber of State of Qatar also expressed his appreciation towards the Professor Anton Caragea as organizer of this event that highlighted the beauties and hospitality of a region that must be visited by foreigners and Romanians alike.
