THE TOP OF BEST ROMANIAN WINES FOR 2014

On the occasion of the 11 International Wine Fair-Good Wine, Bucharest had become the capital of wine makers and wine lovers in search of the best wines that Romania and the world can offer.

Good Wine April 2014 edition, had offered the opportunity for a delegation of wine experts and diplomats from Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania to taste and appreciate the Romanian wines on display and to carve up a top of Best Romanian Wines of 2014.

Mr.Daniel Guzu-President of CASA PANCIU, Mrs. Ileana Tudor-CASA PANIU, Professor Dr. Anton Caragea-IRICE Director, H.E. Ambassador of Venezuela-Victor Ramon Carazo and CASA PANCIU sommelier.    

The clear winner was by far the HOUSE OF PANCIU (CASA PANCIU), who also selected in December 2013 as the maker of DIPLOMATIC WINE FOR 2014 and who reconfirmed his status in the wine tasting of 2014: the blended assembly of  Feteasca Neagra (Black Girly) and Cabernet Sauvignon was once again appraised for his perfect bouquet of aromas of vanilla and berry fruits and for freshness and the round savory taste enriched with the necessary tannin so beneficial for human body, everything creating for the taster the perfect experience of Romanian wine.

The star of the tasting session was the sparkling wine from Muscat Ottonel obtained by Asti method that eloquently proved his high quality by his perfect sugar concentration combined outstanding with fresh fruits aroma and with conquering and long-lasting savoir that filled with joy the heart of all the diplomats present on the venue.

Concluding the wine tasting session at Good Wine April 2014, the diplomats, lead by Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania choose  as their favorite wines the: Feteasca Neagra de la Casa Panciu (Black Girly) for the first place and Babeasca ( Old Lady) from Casa Panciu (second place).

In the sparkling wines competition, the leader was the Brut from Panciu Vineyards (Traditional method) from CASA PANCIU, who was highly praised, or his exterior consistence and behavior in the glass, for his long-lasting taste, enduring and profusely aroma and the expressiveness that is unveiling step by step to the taster offering nice surprises at every zip.

The diplomats involved in the tasting had encouraged the Romanian producers to increase the wine quality by producing more sweet and semi-sweet wines with increase sugar concentration, the only solution for a consistent export and presence of Romanian wines on international markets.

The President of CASA PANCIU (HOUSE OF PANCIU)-Mr. Daniel Guzu saved for the last a special surprise, offering for tasting the latest product of Vrancea company: Rose Sparkling Wine 2013, who become and instant favorite of the public by aroma and freshness, who charmed the eye with his perfect color and become in glasses a glittering rose that offered instant joy to the tasting committee.

Under the watchful eye of Casa Panciu sommelier and with benevolent care of President Daniel Guzu the diplomats had enjoyed the best wines Romania can offer: DIPLOMATIC WINE FOR 2014-the wine form CASA PANCIU (HOUSE OF PANCIU).

In general, thanks to the HOUSE OF PANCIU-CASA PANCIU-the 11 International Wine Fair from April 2014 had level up to his promise to present the true wine treasures of Romania: Muscat Ottonel, Feteasca Neagra and Cabernet Sauvignon from Casa Panciu.

ROMANIA-LAOS BUSINESS COUNCIL OPEN HIS GATES

On 11 September 2013 the official inauguration ceremony for Romania-Laos Business Council was held in the presence of the diplomatic community accredited to Romania, of members of Parliamentary friendship Group between Romania and Laos and included also many members of Romanian Senate, Chamber of Deputies and Romanian Government.

The ceremony was opened by Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, Institute of International relations and economic Cooperation Chairman by a short speech underlining that: “by the inauguration of Romania-Laos Business Council, the first institutionalized cooperation bridge is opened between our country and South East Asia”.

His Excellency Professor Dr. Anton Caragea had emphasize moreover the fact that as a future task: “the Romania-Laos Business Council must support the activity of the business people interested in economic recovery and in the presence of Romanian assets and goods on the future markets of Asia. We hope that the Romanian – Laotian initiative shall be a pole of attractiveness and example for states from South East Asia to discover and choose Romanian products”.

In his opening remarks the President of Romania-Laos Parliamentary Friendship Group, senator Ionel Agrigoroaei highlighted the fact that:

“Laos does not represent our main diplomatic and political partner in the region, but it also has the potential to quickly become an attraction pole for the Romanian investors and for our assets, taking into account in our bilateral relation the memories we have in over 30 years of fructuous cooperation, before 1989.

Undoubtedly, it is the time to recover the markets we abandoned so quickly after 1989, which led to the decrease of the economic production and unemployment.

By its central position, Laos can become the center of activity and export springboard for South East Asia states, which makes the today’s event more important and representative”, concluded Senator Ionel Agrigoroaei.

On the same line where also the remarks made by Senator Vasilica Steliana Miron, Vice-President of Romania-Laos Parliamentary Friendship Group who made the point that: “Laos has quickly become the most important diplomatic partner of our country in the region and it is becoming an increasing economic presence and a realm of potential with a similar history”.

In the central moment of ceremony and surrounded by thunderous applause Professor Dr. Anton Caragea had introduced to the public the new President of the Romania-Laos Business Council: Mr. Mihai Prundianu.

Professor Dr. Anton Caragea had mark in his presentation the personality and important role played by Mr. Mihai Prundianu in reorganizing Romanian economy underlining that from today the ROMANIAN-LAOS BUSINESS COUNCIL will, benefit from the invaluable knowledge of the area, gained in countless missions in Southeast Asia by Mr. Prundianu.

In his key-note speech the President of Romania-Laos Business Council-Mihai Prundianu presented the relevance of the new institution in the economic and diplomatic environment:

“Laos, by its strategic position on the center of Indochina peninsula, represents the ideal location for economic activities, in order to spread the Romanian goods and technology in the entire area.

The symbolical cooperation bridge Vientiane – Bucharest which is being opened today in order to encourage investments and economic activities, will be beneficial for the entire area.

The big projects launched by the Laotian government, among which I would like to mention the Indochina highway, which connects Bangkok to southern China, the chain of power stations along Mekong river, agricultural terracing works and land improvement and the increase of the tourist potential are only a few of the areas where the Romanian expertise can have a word to say”, concluded the new President of Romania-Laos Business Council.

The who`s who of Romanian society  and diplomatic life attended the opening ceremony of ROMANIA-LAOS BUSINESS COUNCIL.

In unanimity the personalities presented at the venue of Romanian-Laos Business Council appreciated the event as an impressive success for Romanian economic diplomacy as it is opening the gates of South-East Asia for Romanian products for the first time in the last twenty years.

A HISTORIC DECISION: THE VICE PRIME-MINISTER OF ROMANIAN GOVERNMENT NOMINATED AS PRESIDENT OF ROMANIA-KAZAKHSTAN PARLIAMENTARY FRIENDSHIP GROUP

On February 14, 2013  was concluded the process of selecting and appointing the members of bilateral parliamentary friendship groups between Romania and other countries.

The Parliamentary Friendship Groups are instrumental for developing strong political and parliamentary relations between Romania and his different partners in the world.

Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation  has taken charge of selecting special members of   parliamentary friendship groups for the countries that are having a special significance for Romania foreign policy.

Among the countries with strategic significance for Romania is Kazakhstan and on 14 February 2013 at the Victoria Government Palace, the official appointing of the President of Romania-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Friendship Group   has taken place.

The President of Romania-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Friendship Group   was elected General Gabriel Oprea-Vice Prime Minister of Romania Government, a strategic decision as never in the history of Romania a Vice Prime-Minister has taken this role.

This appointment is a prof of the magnitude and strategic significance of the bilateral relations between Romania and Kazakhstan, had stated during the ceremony Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation.

 General Gabriel Oprea-Vice Prime Minister of Romania Government had stated that his appointment at the head of the Romania-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Friendship Group    has the agreement of  Prime Minister of Romania and is destined to offer to international community a signal that Kazakhstan is today the most important political and diplomatic partner of Romania.

It is a singular fact in history of Romania that a Vice Prime Minister is taking charge of developing the bilateral relation with one country, but this is also a signal that Romania-Kazakhstan relation is a unique and special relation, concluded   General Gabriel Oprea-Vice Prime Minister of Romanian Government.
