KAZAKHSTAN: A WORLD MODEL

On 25 April 2013, Romania had organized a conference of presentation and support for Kazakhstan 2050 Strategy and for President Nursultan Nazarbayev initiative on combating global economic crisis by G Global organization.

The conference has enjoyed the presence of senators and deputies of Romanian parliament, the academic community and was held in the presence of representatives of diplomatic corp accredited to Romania.

In the opening speech of the conference Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation had clearly marked the importance of Kazakhstan 2050 strategy.

Kazakhstan 2050 strategy is not only a domestic receipt to develop Kazakhstan economy and to produce growth, employment and development but it is a blueprint for all nations to combat economic crisis and is offering a model for economic progress in a time of crisis, concluded professor dr. Anton Caragea.

Professor Dr. Anton Caragea had presented also the major foreign policy initiatives destined to reshape the world of XXI century proposed by Kazakhstan:

-the platform for Euro-Atlantic and Eurasian security as part of Astana’s drive to create a framework for cooperation between key regional organizations in charge of security.

– the G-Global initiative on combating world economic crisis was unveiled offering a rostrum for exchange ideas and plans to curb the present day economic crisis.

-the KAZAKHSTAN 2050 Strategy as an example for world economies on how to create growth and employment and economic development in a time of crisis.

The Kazakhstan Senator Akhan Bizhanov, President of Kazakhstan-Romania Parliamentary Friendship Group in Kazakhstan Senate and Chairman of Social and Cultural Committee of the Senate had extensively presented the Kazakhstan 2050 strategy   emphasizing the economic development and the development measures that will enshrine Kazakhstan amongst the world most developed nations.

Kazakhstan 2050 strategy has being the objective of world attention in the last span of time on the account of: mechanism`s to generate economic development, crisis management and building a knowledge and technology based economy, all this are regarded as material for analysis and role model for other countries development strategy.

Senator Baktybai Shelpekov, President of Budget and Finance Commission in Kazakhstan Senate highlighted the significance of G Global as a way to combat world crisis, to elaborate new strategy and policies for world development and as the only solution for a democratic and complete response to world challenges of XXI century.

More that 200 parliamentarians and academics express their support for Kazakhstan 2050 strategy and for G Global initiative.

Messages of support for Kazakhstan 2050 strategy and g Global were read out by H.E. Valeriu Zgonea, the President of Chamber of Deputies of Romania, H.E. Florin Constantiniu , Vice-President of Romanian  Senate , Ionel Agrigoroaie, Vice-President of Romania-Kazakhstan Parliamentary Friendship Group, Mr. Azamat Zhangulov, Vice-President of Rompetrol etc.

The round table had enjoyed a massive presence of parliamentarians and academicians who expressed their admiration for Kazakhstan startling   achievements as: building a democratic and open society, a powerful economy and an inclusive society blending minorities, languages and religions in a society of future.

Kazakhstan is today a role model nation and Kazakhstan 2050 strategy is offering, together with G Global initiative, a charted way for promoting economic development and democratic debate worldwide.

We can safely conclude that Kazakhstan lessons were fully embraced by the Romanian political and academic elite in the Palace of Parliament held conference.

MODELS TO COMBAT WORLD ECONOMIC CRISIS. SEMINARY HELD IN ROMANIAN PARLIAMENT

On 25 April 2013, the Palace of Parliament will host an impressive round table highlighting the examples of countries that succeeded in avoiding the consequences of world economic crisis proving that development is possible and during harsh economic times.

At the core of the debate will be the testimonials of a delegation of parliamentarians from Kazakhstan that will explain the special experience of the Central Asian country.

Kazakhstan is today the second foreign investor in Romanian economy, has reached number three in the top of the countries as rate of economic development and is also on the top list of the easiness to do business destination in the world.

All this achievements are even more striking as only two decades ago Kazakhstan appeared for majority of experts as a poor and isolated country, with little chances of further development.

The Kazakh economic miracle looks from this perspective even more appealing as a model for Romania.

On this occasion the new objectives for development and growth of Kazakhstan until 2050 encompass in Kazakhstan 2050 strategy will be presented.

In the last span of time the Republic of Kazakhstan has unveiled three major foreign policy programs destined to reshape the world of XXI century.

ROMANIA-KAZAKHSTAN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP CELEBRATES TWO DECADES OF ACOMPLISHMENTS

The year 2012 is marking the 20 years anniversary of Kazakhstan-Romania diplomatic relations. A significant celebration, keeping in mind that Kazakhstan is today the most important economic and strategic partner of Romania in Central Asia.

This outstanding position is based on Kazakhstan impressive transformation into a country that is today the main energy supplier from Central Asia, a renamed military and politic stability supplier for the area and a country with outstanding diplomatic results as the leader of Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe in 2010 and of Islamic Conference Organization in 2011 and 2012.

Based on this important achievements Kazakhstan and Romania had build an impressive trade relation of over 3 billion dollars (2008) and a consistent and powerful high level dialogue with Romania forged in many meeting between Presidents of Romania and President of Kazakhstan.

Also an important and continuous governmental and parliamentary dialogue is taken place on regular bases.

Romania is fallowing with great interest and appreciation the tremendous achievements of Kazakhstan and has lost no opportunity in emphasizing his long standing desire for supporting Kazakhstan progresses by hosting important events such as: International Conference on OSCE- Kazakhstan Chairmanship (24 February 200) endorsing Kazakhstan reform agenda for the OSCE, Academic conference marking 20 years of Kazakhstan independence: KAZAKHSTAN 20 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE AND PROGRESS and supporting Astana bid for EXPO 2017 by organizing ASTANA-CAPITAL OF THE FUTURE Exhibition in Bucharest.

ROMANIA HOSTS INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE CELEBRATING 20 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE OF KAZAKHSTAN

The year 2011 is marking the 20 years anniversary of Kazakhstan independence. In the short time span of only two decades Kazakhstan had succeeded an impressive transformation into a country that is today the main energy supplier from Central Asia, a renamed military and politic stability supplier for the area and a country with outstanding diplomatic results as the leader of Organization for security and Cooperation in Europe in 2010 and of Islamic conference Organization in 2011.

OSCE 2010 . A DECISIVE YEAR. BUCHAREST CONFERENCE

On 24 February 2010 Bucharest will host one of the most important political and diplomatic debates of the last years at the Conference on OSCE. 2010 a decisive year for Europe. Kazakhstan Presidency. 

The Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe ( OSCE)  established itself as a forum for dialogue and cooperation between West and East in the time of Cold War has find itself in a limbo after the end of the communism end of European continent separation. Now OSCE is trying to reconstruct the identity and reoccupied an important role in Europe. This internal debate concentrated on the future of Europe is initiated by the key speech of H.E. President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev  ,  in Vienna at the assumption of Kazakhstan for OSCE Chairmanship.

President Nazarbaev declared as one of the most important point of Kazakhstan Presidency: “Improving the effectiveness of international organizations in meeting new global challenges has come to the fore. That is the precise task of the OSCE, which is a unique platform for dialogue bringing together 56 States located on three continents.
The decisive question for the OSCE in the future will be whether it can convert itself into a structure that recognizes the diversity of the world in the 21st century, or whether it will continue to be an organization segmented into blocs, where the West remains aloof from the space “east of Vienna”?”    The conference on OSCE in Bucharest will try to respond to this agenda uniting a team of foreign policy experts and heavy weight European political leaders in the research of solutions and ideas to promote a new OSCE more visible, more realistically and more involved in Europe and Asia political, economic and security landscape.

 Among the key note speaker are former president of Romania, Emil Constantinescu a convinced European and north-atlantics enthusiast that promoted in Romania a pro-western agenda in the years of his presidency, former president Ion Iliescu, a specialist in globalization issues and ecologist and professor Anton Caragea, director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation , the foreign policy institute in Romania. Now Bucharest Conference will start an academic debate date that may in the future transform OSCE in a new vibrant organization. The Bucharest Conference is just the beginning of a transformation year that many consider a decisive year for OSCE under Kazakhstan Presidency in the awaiting of 1th of august the will now became the official day of OSCE.

The Bucharest Conference is a response to President Nazarbaev appeal for a European involvement in OSCE rebirth.  Intellectual and academic response of Europe will be written at Bucharest Conference.
