ROMANIA-DPR KOREA CONSTANT DIALOGUE

A delegation comprising members of parliament, business representatives and academicians under the leadership of H.E. Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation held a dialogue with H.E. Kim Son Gyong, Ambassador of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on the topics of expending cultural, economic and diplomatic cooperation between Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and Romania.

In the opening of 12 April 2014 meeting H.E. Kim Son Gyong, Ambassador of Democratic People’s Republic of Korea had made an exhaustive presentation of the political, cultural and economic developments in his country, presented also plans for future economic constructions in his country and of his country cooperation with all the nations of the world and intensive development of cultural relations.

Professor Dr. Anton Caragea had conveyed on behalf of Romanian delegation his massage of congratulation for the recent elections held in Democratic People’s Republic of Korea for the election of Supreme People Assembly.

The discussion, held in an amicable atmosphere, where sincere and honest, the Romanian delegation showing their interest in developing economic, cultural and political cooperation between Romania and DPR Korea.

A special accent was placed on the historical bases of the relations between our countries as a strong fundament for future development of the amicable friendship between the two nations.

A special banquet concluded the discussions and presented to the guest`s the special sinsollo cuisine-highly prized and considered as the best food of Asia and receiver of the golden prize at the Beijing Culinary Contest.

ROMANIA – NIGERIA RELATIONS TABLED IN A BILATERAL MEETING

On 30 January 2014, the taking office protocol and presentation meeting between Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation and H.E. Okechukwu F. Muoh, Ambassador of Federal Republic of Nigeria in Romania had taken place.

Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea express his heart felted  congratulation on the occasion of beginning of mandate of  Mr. Okechukwu F. Muoh, appreciating that between Romanian and Nigeria there is a long and positive history of cultural, economic and political cooperation and a large area of common interests , designed to forge a good understanding  between the two nations .

The Romania- Nigeria relationship needs an overhaul and a rapid intensification in the field of economic and cultural exchange areas, creating a better perception of Nigeria in Romanian society, remarked Professor Anton Caragea.

Now it is an auspicious moment for reconstructing and rebuilding the framework of dialogue and friendship between Romania and Nigeria and bolstering knowledge, information and the presence of Nigeria in Romania mass media and diplomatic and economic community is a task of paramount importance for Nigeria concluded Professor Anton Caragea.

H.E. Okechukwu F. Muoh had expressed his satisfaction and appreciation for the encouragement`s offered by Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea and had stated that the vision of a economic, politic and cultural special relationship between Nigeria and Romania is a common shared vision.

This year is especially important for the image of Nigeria as the country wants to held a bilateral economic forum with Romania and is intending to boost bilateral cultural and parliamentary relations in 2014 stated Ambassador Okechukwu F. Muoh.

The main area of bilateral cooperation could be economy and culture for the next period, appreciated Ambassador Okechukwu F. Muoh.

 The dialogue had continued on exploring concrete sphere of economic activity interesting for both countries such as tourism cooperation, creating honorary consulate offices of Nigeria in Romania, building bilateral Romania –Nigeria business councils where highlighted as main topics of the common agenda.

During the meeting where tabled also different aspects and analyses of economic, political and cultural bilateral relations and on ways of fostering this dialogue on to the future.

The amicable dialogue concentrated also on the possibility of a Romania-Nigeria Economic Forum and a series of informational and political events destined to mark Nigerian economic and political advance in the African region.

The comprehensive dialogue led the foundations of a successful diplomatic mandate and fostering the relations between Romanian and Nigeria and constitutes a promise for re-launching a traditional Romanian diplomatic action towards Nigeria.

ROMANIA-ALGERIA RENEWED FRIENDSHIP. THE VISIT OF MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF ALGERIA – MOURAD MEDELCI

ROMANIAN-ALGERIAN DIALOGUE. THE VISIT OF MINISTER OF FOREIGN OF ALGERIA – MOURAD MEDELCI 

Between 22-23 November 2011 was taking place the visit in Romania of Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria H.E. Mourad Medelci.

The visit, perfect realized by the efforts of Algerian Embassy staff in Romania, headed by the dedicated ambassador Habib Chawki Hamraoui, was an outstanding success in perfecting romanian-algerian dialogue and in reshaping the traditional friendship between Romania and Algeria.

The dens program of the visit included a productive dialogue with Romanian prime-minister Emil Boc ,  a meeting with Romanian minister of Foreign Affairs –Theodor Bachonski ,a dialogue with professor dr. Anton Caragea and the board of director`s of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania ,attending the inauguration of the new premises of Algerian Embassy in Romania , the opening of Romania-Algeria Economic and Business Forum, attending a working launch with Mr. Emil Constantinescu , President of Romania ( 1996-2000) and prof.dr. Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania.

At the Economic and Business Forum Romania-Algeria, the Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania had sent a 25 members strong economic delegation, headed by Professor Dr. Anton Caragea and representing investors and important economic firms from Romania with a combined economic powered over 400 millions euro`s.

The Romania-Algeria Economic and Business Forum was unanimously considered as an impressive  success because is the first major economic forum between Romania and North Africa region held in the last 10 years and also the first successful romanian-arab economic forum held in the last decade.

Was also generally praised the invitation launched at the Romania-Algeria Economic and Business Forum by H.E. Mourad Medelci – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria:  “We wish to resume our bilateral relations, in a constructive spirit, and ground them on development and cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, civilian and military cooperation, cultural cooperation. (…) The financial situations of our country allow us to fund, from our country’s budget, a five-year program (2010-2014) worth 280 billion dollars. This context is favorable and I would like to stress that in the framework of this programme, Romanian firms have already proved their competence in fields like constructions, hydraulic infrastructure and education. Therefore there is real potential for development and cooperation between the two states,” said the head of the Algerian diplomacy.

After the Romania-Algeria Economic and Business Forum a dialogue was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria- H.E. Mourad Medelci and Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania.

On the time of the discussion an honest assessment of the situation from Middle East and North Africa region was made and also a discussion about the ripple effects in  the region had taken place. H.E. Minister Mourad Medelci had declared that the analyses of prof.dr.Anton Caragea over the events in the region are read, analyzed and highly appreciated in Alger and are given all the importance.

After  the discussion, a launch honoring Romania-Algeria friendship, in the company of H.E. President of Romania Emil Constantinescu (1996-2000) and the architect of this successful visit, Algerian Ambassador Habib Chawki Hamraoui was held. Over 100 guests from cultural , academic and economy fields where present at the launch together with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria- H.E. Mourad Medelci and Professor dr. Anton Caragea, Director of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania.

Presedintele Bashar Al Assad este un prieten deosebit al poporului roman

ANALIZA EXPERTULUI : VIZITA PRESEDINTELUI SIRIEI IN ROMANIA

In data de 10 noiembrie Presedintele Republicii Arabe Siriene , Excelenta Sa Bashar Al Assad, efectueza o vizita la nivel inalt in Romania pentru a afla mai multe detalii despre aceasta vizita ne-am adresat profesorului Anton Caragea, directorul Institutului de Relatii Internationale si Cooperare  Economica, care a condus cea mai recenta delegatie in Siria si avut discutii la cel mai inalt nivel , discutii ce au facut posibila aceasta vizita.   

Intrebare : Domnule profesor ati condus o delegatie care a cunoscut in amanuntime Siria si care a deschis drumul catre aceasta vizita, ce sa asteptam de la Siria si de la vizita Presedintelui Bashar Al Assad ?

Prof.dr.Anton Caragea:  Siria este o ţară activă, interesată în colaborarea cu Romania , având un rol pozitiv  în rezolvarea problemelor din Orientul Mijlociu.   Siria este o ţară care lucrează de peste 60 de ani la stabilizarea regiunii, fie în Liban sau Palestina, influenţa pozitivă siriană se face simţită.

În plus Siria este ţara care oferă sprijin şi ajutor la peste 1,5 milioane de refugiaţi irakieni asigurându-şi astfel şi un rol în rezolvarea problemei irakiene. Siria are acum o economie stabilă, în perpetuă creştere, în deschidere faţă de pieţele străine.  În plus nu trebuie uitată evoluţia democratică a Siriei care cunoaşte alegeri multipartite, echilibrul politic, separarea puterilor în stat şi care se deschide tot mai mult către lume. Siria are toate atuurile pentru a deveni un punct important pentru Romania , pentru colaborare în toate domeniile: politic, economic, cultural etc.

Intrebare: Si vizita de maine ( interviul e din 9 noiembrie n.n) a presedintelui Siriei va ajuta aceste relatii ?

Prof.dr. Anton Caragea: Absolut , presedintele Bashar Al Assad este un vechi si deosebit prieten al poporului roman, in toata vizita noastra in Siria toti ministrii si toate oficialitatile siriene ne-au vorbit despre dorinta presedintelui Bashar Al Assad de a adanci cooperarea cu tara noastra. Suntem norocosi sa avem in fruntea Siriei o personalitate care iubeste si intelege Romania.

Intrebare: Putem avea şi o bază economică a colaborării româno-siriene ?

Prof.dr.Anton Caragea : În cursul vizitei noastre în Siria am descoperit rapid că Siria poate devenii o piaţă care să atragă cc. 50.000 de turişti români anual şi poate trimite cel puţin 20.000 de turişti anual pe litoralul nostru, care suferă abandonat de turiştii străini, apoi putem colabora în domeniul bursier, unde Siria tocmai a deschis Bursa din Damasc un element fundamental pentru atragerea de capital şi bineînţeles piaţa siriană  are nevoie de produsele româneşti şi poate oferii la rândul ei pieţei româneşti produse alimentare ecologice, ieftine şi de calitate şi produse textile şi pielărie. Să nu uităm şi colaborarea în domeniul energetic unde Siria caută exploatarea rezervelor de petrol şi gaze de pe teritoriul său şi România are experienţă în acest domeniu.

Ministrul Turismului al Siriei decorat cu ocazia vizitei delegatiei romane. 

Siria este povestea de succes a Orientului Mijlociu şi România trebuie să fie parte la acest succes.  În concluzie pot doar spune că România şi Siria sau regăsit după 20 de ani cu aceeaşi disponibilitate de a colabora şi de a-şi construi un viitor. România trebuie să fie poarta prin care Uniunea Europeană se apropie de Siria.

ROMANIAN ACADEMIC ELITE IS PRAISING THE PRESIDENT OF TURKMENISTAN ACHIEVEMENTS

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the men who brings prosperity and democracy to Turkmenistan

 

On the occasion of opening the first diplomatic mission of Turkmenistan to Romania ,His Excellency Ambassador Shohrat Jumayev ,held an explanatory meeting with a delegation of Romanian Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation in order to present to Romanian academics and cultural and diplomatically elite the radical changes that took place in the last years in Turkmenistan and his country role in the Central Asia politics and the importance of Turkmenistan for a good Asia-Europe connection and for the important energy projects in the region. In his expose Ambassador Shohrat Jumayev has presented the most important achievements and accomplishments of Turkmenistan.

In the dialogue with Professor Anton Caragea have being analyzed important successes such as:

–         Constructing a sustainable economic growth in Turkmenistan , a rapid economic development and the construction of a solid free market economy based in the same time on the correct income distribution and with a highly development of social protection sectors.

–         The continuous development of social base of Turkmen people by investing in health and education sectors , investment and support that is responding to the most sacred and untouchable human rights such as the right to health ,education and productive life.

–         The continuous development and protection of cultural and historical patrimony of Turkmen people, the transformation of Ashgabat in the pivotal connection center between Europe and Asia and in a light-house of   development for the entire region.

–         Continuously supporting peace and security on world stage and in the Central Asia region by important and internationally resounding actions such as transforming Turkmenistan in a neutral state and obtaining international recognition of this statue and hosting in Ashgabat the United Nation Center for preventive diplomacy in Central Asia. The last being an important initiative not only for the region but also for the world keeping in mind the strategic importance of Turkmenistan .

During his speech Professor Anton Caragea has underlined that all this numerous achievements could not being possible without the democratic framework of the country and the steadfast commitment to democracy and rule of law of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

The achievements of Turkmenistan are widely known and respected in Romania and the support that Turkmenistan President is offering for the development of Romania-Turkmenistan ties is extremely important and is appreciated by Romanian academics, politician, diplomats and cultural personalities alike. Turkmenistan is a model to be followed by not only the states of the region but also future economic and social development of Romania will be greatly improved by coping Turkmenistan model of social and economic system .The public presentation of Turkmenistan had enjoyed a wide public interest in all the board leadership of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation but also to other guest invited at the event. Also it was decided that such meetings will be held in the future and also the discussion reach a variety of common interest topics for the further development of Romania- Turkmenistan bilateral ties.
