International artistic encounter in Bucharest

afis Expozitie arta-

New York, Paris and Toronto encounter for the first time in Bucharest, regrouping one hundred artistic works of painter Gevork Chubaryan, sculptor Françoise Abraham and painter Costa Dvorezky.

Gevork Chubaryan, American artist of Armenian descent, born in Russia in 1985, currently resides in New York, where he graduated from the School of Visual Arts in 2007. He comes from a family with a great artistic tradition, his grandfather, Gukas Chubaryan being widely recognized as a true patriarch of modern Armenian sculpture. In 2006, 2008 and 2009 he held personal exhibitions in Wisconsin, New York and Texas.

Francoise Abraham has had, since 1997, personal exhibitions throughout Europe, Asia and the United States. She is most known and appreciated for her personal technique, colored resin, which she has put up and developed through her artistic work. This new technique is unique in the art market, successfully managing to mix an original mise-en-scene with a sight touch of unusual.

Born in Russia in 1968, Costa Dvorezky currently resides and creates in Canada. He has graduated from the Moscow Stroganov Academy in 1993 and has since participated at numerous exhibitions throughout Europe and North America. Many of his works can nowadays be found in private collections in France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Canada and the United States.

The exhibition will be opened for public from 4 to 12 October 2013, the inauguration taking place on Friday, October 4 at 19.00, in the presence of the three artists, at the Romanian National Library in Bucharest, 22 Unirii Boulevard, Mircea Voda Boulevard entrance. Admission is free.
