ROMANIA CELEBRATES WORLD TOURISM DAY 2017

Celebrated worldwide since 1980, World Tourism Day is commemorated usually at the end of September each year and hosted in the capital of the country crowned as WORLD BEST TOURIST DESTINATION OF THE YEAR.

 

This year, the Official Celebrations are held in Phnom Penh , the capital city of Kingdom of Cambodia, winner of World Best Tourism Destination designation and in Bucharest on October 4, 2017 with the support of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation of Romania. 

 

 

The main role of the World Tourism Day is to highlight the global significance of tourism as a tool for global development and cultural enlightenment.

Tourism is the greatest educator in the world, stated on the topic the Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation President Dr. Anton Caragea.

This is one of the goals of the World Tourism Day celebrations that are being conducted throughout the world.

The Official Celebrations taking place in Bucharest are garnering world tourism leaders, industry entrepreneurs and researchers, Global Ambassadors for Tourism and Sustainable Development Goals  among other key actors in the sector.

The event was opened by the President of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation, H.E. Professor Dr. Anton Caragea, who emphasized the cultural and heritage booster and promoter role of Tourism and the links of the sector with the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals as well as the carry torch role of the Global Ambassadors for Tourism and Sustainable Development Goals in the global economic diversification and socially oriented growth.

On this occasion H.E. Professor Dr. Anton Caragea – IRICE President announced that: Global Ambassadors for Tourism and Sustainable Development Goals project will continue unabated until 2030, the year marked by United Nations for the completion of the 17 Goals at world level.

On this occasion was announced that 2018 World Tourism Day theme will be: TOURISM AS A CULTURAL PROTECTOR, emphasizing tourism  role in promoting awareness for cultural and heritage patrimony , in boosting the resources allocated for their maintenance and preservation and in educating future generations on their role as guardian`s and custodians of these world treasures.

Next year date for WORLD TOURISM DAY celebration was decided to be September 27 2018 and the official theme will be TOURISM AND CULTURAL PROTECTION!

PROGRAMUL AMBASADORILOR MONDIALI PENTRU TURISM SI OBIECTIVELE DE DEZVOLTARE DURABILA VA CONTINUA SI IN 2018

Parlamentari, diplomati si reprezentanti ai turismului mondial au salutat decizia luata cu ocazia ZILEI MONDIALE A TURISMULUI 2017, de continuare a programului de dezvoltare si cooperare internationala cunoscut sub numele de AMBASADORI MONDIALI PENTRU TURISM SI OBIECTIVELE DE DEZVOLTARE DURABILA.

Initial programul a fost gandit doar pentru anul 2017, an al dezvoltarii mondiale prin turism.

Ca urmare a succesului deosebit inregistrat de program, Professor Dr. Anton Caragea si-a anunta decizia de a aproba continuarea programului pe intreaga perioada de derulare a implementarii ODD. Decizia a venit ca urmare a consultarilor cu membrii Adunarii Parlamentare pentru Implementarea Obiectivelor de Dezvoltare Durabila (ODD).

Decizia a fost anuntata in 4 octobrie 2017- ZIUA MONDIALA A TURISMULUI in prezenta membrilor Consiliului European pentru Turism si Comert, ai Academiei Europene, ai corpului diplomatic si membrii ai Adunarii Parlamentare pentru Implementarea Obiectivelor de Dezvoltare Durabila.

Principalul factor ce a dus la aceasta decizie a fost cererea venita din partea a zeci de lideri politici, lideri de stat si de guvern si personalitati mondiale ce doresc sa ia parte la creionarea strategiilor de dezvoltare mondiala si la implementarea Agendei Natiunilor Unite pentru ODD.

Aceasta cerere a fost factorul determinat in decizia Presedintelui IRICE Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea de a solicita continuarea programului AMBASADORILOR PENTRU TURISM SI OBIECTIVELE DE DEZVOLTARE DURABILA si de a-l incredinta spre implementare Adunarii Parlamentare pentru Implementarea Obiectivelor de Dezvoltare Durabila.

Acest organism international este centrul perfect pentru a asigura cooperarea internationala si pentru a asigura acceptarea globala si pentru a asigura legitimitatea democratica a Agendei de dezvoltare durabila 2030 a Natiunilor Unite a declarat Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea.

ROMANIA GAZDUIESTE ZIUA MONDIALA A TURISMULUI 2017

Ziua Mondiala a Turismului este celebrata in fiecare an in principalele centre al turismului, in 2017 principalele ceremonii legate de acest eveniment au avut loc in Phnom Penh, capitala Regatului Cambodiei, castigatorul competitiei CEA MAI BUNA DESTINATIE MONDIALA si in Bucuresti unde manifestarile au avut loc in 4 octombrie 2017, cu sprijinul Institutului de Relatii Internationale si Cooperare Economica.

 

Sarbatoarea ZILEI TURISMULUI IN PHNOM PENH.

Din 1980, cand a fost stabilita pana in ziua de azi, Ziua Mondiala a Turismului a fost dedicata prezentarii rolului turismului ca un instrument pentru dezvoltare globala si afirmare culturala.

Turismul este in ziua de astazi cel mai important factor de educatiei in intreaga lume, a declarat Presedintele IRICE Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea la inceputul manifestarilor.

Sarbatoarea dedicata ZILEI MONDIALE A TURISMULUI a adunat alaturi lideri ai turismului global, antreprenori, cercetatori, diplomati si membrii ai Adunarii Parlamentare pentru Implementarea Obiectivelor de Dezvoltare Durabila.

E.S. Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea semneaza decretul de prelungire a programului  AMBASADORILOR GLOBALI PENTRU TURISM SI OBIECTIVELE DE DEZVOLTARE DURABILA.

 

In deschiderea evenimentului E.S. Prof. Dr. Anton Caragea a subliniat rolul de promovare culturala si de protectie a patrimoniului pe care il are turismul in ziua de astazi si totodata legaturile pe care sectorul turistic le are in indeplinirea Obiectivelor de Dezvoltare Durabila trasate de Natiunile Unite prin programul de promovare si constientizare al AMBASADORILOR MONDIALI PENTRU TURISM SI OBIECTIVELE DE DEZVOLTARE DURABILA.

Cu aceasta ocazie Presedintele Anton Caragea si-a anuntat decizia de continuare a programului AMBASADORI MONDIALI PENTRU TURISM SI OBIECTIVELE DE DEZVOLTARE DURABILA pana in 2030, data anuntata de Natiunile Unite pentru indeplinirea si implementarea la nivel mondial a obiectivelor mileniului.

Totodata cu aceasta ocazie a fost anuntata si tema ZILEI MONDIALE A TURISMULUI pentru 2018: TURISMUL: FACTOR DE PROTECTIE A CULTURII SI PATRIMONIULUI.

Tema aleasa intentioneaza sa sublinieze importanta turismului in promovarea patrimoniului cultural si istoric, in obtinerea de mijloace necesare prezervarii si dezvoltarii lor si in educarea tinerelor generatii in calitatea lor de gestionari si conservatori ai acestor bogatii pentru generatiile ce vor veni.

In finalul manifestarilor s-a anuntat ca ZIUA MONDIALA A TURISMULUI pentru 2018 va fi celebrata in 27 Septembrie 2018.

IRICE PRESIDENT DR. ANTON CARAGEA SIGNS THE DECISION TO CONTINUE THE GLOBAL AMBASSADOR FOR TOURISM AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS APPOINTMENTS

In the opening ceremonies for the 2017 World Tourism Day Professor Dr. Anton Caragea has made the long-awaited announcement:  The  Global Ambassadors for Tourism and Sustainable Development Goals programme will continue in the next year and had expressed his support for the decision taken by THE PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY FOR UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDG) to continue upholding the efforts of promoting SDG as tools for international peace, development and inclusive and socially balanced growth.

 

On October 4, 2017 the official ceremonies for WORLD TOURISM DAY have taken place at Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation in the presence of President Professor Dr. Anton Caragea and having in observance members of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation, European Council on Tourism (ECTT) and Trade, European Tourism Academy and members of PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY FOR UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDG).

 

In the opening ceremonies for the World Tourism Day, Professor Dr. Anton Caragea has made the long-awaited announcement:  The  Global Ambassadors for Tourism and Sustainable Development Goals programme will continue in the next year.

As a result of the demands coming from leaders, statesman`s and peerless world personalities involved in the carving of new development strategies and in implementing United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda we have taken the decision to further implement the program and to entrust the European Council on Tourism and Trade and  PARLIAMENTARY ASSEMBLY FOR UNITED NATIONS SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS SDG to continue the implementation of the program in the years to come.

On the same occasion  Professor Dr. Anton Caragea announced the good news that:  the international Campaign for the implementation of 2030 Agenda of United Nations, known worldwide as SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS AGENDA, in the work of parliaments across the world has reached a first milestone, only after a year of existence, with the support of 262 parliamentarians from 22 national parliaments.

The role of Parliamentary Assembly for SDG`s is “to ensure international cooperation, secure the acceptance and to enhance the legitimacy of the United Nations SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS AGENDA and strengthen the elected representatives ( parliamentarians) capacity to act and to be more effectively and directly included into the activities of implementing and financing the programs related to SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS AGENDA.”

“If it comes to offer governance to Global Ambassadors for Tourism and Sustainable Development Goals programme and to insure global cooperation, than the Parliamentary Assembly for SDG`s is the venue for a technical and democratic debate, said Professor Dr. Anton Caragea.
