Celebrating 20 Years of Romanian modern diplomacy.

On 9 January 2010 the Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation (IRICE) celebrated 20 years since his creation after the Romanian Revolution of 1989. First created as an Institute of International Relations   ( January 1990) then enlarged with Political Science ( in 1996 by President Emil Constantinescu)  and from January 2010 transformed in the new Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation , the Institute is having already to celebrate 20 years of activity with 98 countries.

The ceremony of celebration took place on 9 January in a special atmosphere at Mc Monis Club in the presence of member of diplomatic corp , member of Romanian Government and Parliament and off course the staff of IRICE and their family.   The ceremony was also attended by President Emil Constantinescu, the founder of IRICE in his presidential term. 20 years said Prof. Anton Caragea (the current director of IRICE), in his message had demonstrated our commitment for values of democracy and free society and for a better world. Also on 10 of January IRICE was elected by United Nations Organization as a member of Global Compact Network of United Nations and as a consultancy member partner to United Nations. Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation (IRICE) becomes THE FIRST AND ONLY ROMANIAN ORGANIZATION to be accepted in United Nations Network.

This honor will only make us work harder for the benefit of international cooperation and for promoting United Nations goal`s in Romania and on international arena.
